Data We Collect

We only collect the minimum data necessary to provide the VPN service. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No email, name, phone number, or personal information
• No advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID)
• No crash reports or diagnostics sent externally
• No VPN traffic logs, browsing history, DNS queries, or connection timestamps
• No contacts, photos, location, or other device data

No-Logs Policy

EdgeVPN operates a strict no-logs policy. We do not monitor, record, log, store, or share any VPN traffic, browsing history, DNS queries, or connection timestamps. Your online activity while connected to our VPN remains private and is never accessible to us or any third party.

Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review:

• Google Play Services
• Google Analytics for Firebase (iOS & Android only) — collects anonymous usage events such as app opens, first VPN connection, server selections, session counts, and subscription purchases. Used for product improvement and conversion measurement. Does not receive your customer ID — all events are anonymous via Firebase's own App Instance ID.
• Adapty — subscription management. Receives a randomly generated customer ID (UUID v4) to verify subscription status and process purchases. Does not receive email, name, or any personal information. Adapty internally links your device ID (IDFV) and purchase receipts to your customer ID. It also automatically collects device type, OS version, locale, and app version.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications. The app subscribes to broadcast topics (all_users, ios_users/android_users). No personal data is sent. The FCM token is stored locally only.

Third-party service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it solely for the purposes outlined above.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small data files used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from websites you visit and stored on your device. Our Service does not explicitly use cookies. However, third-party services integrated into the app may use cookies to collect information and improve their services. You can choose to accept or refuse cookies. If you refuse cookies, some portions of the Service may not function properly.

Data Security

We value your trust in providing us with your personal information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Support Communications

If you contact us via email for support, any personal information shared in that communication (such as your email address and message content) will be deleted within 48 hours after your inquiry has been resolved.

User Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request corrections to your data.
• Request the deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for data collection and processing.
• Opt out of analytics or marketing communications by contacting us at tech@fasttec.net.

Our Service may contain links to other websites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. These external sites are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policies of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us.

Legal Compliance

This Privacy Policy complies with applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We may disclose your personal information to comply with legal obligations, such as responding to a court order or law enforcement request.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Significant updates will be communicated via in-app notifications or email. Continued use of the Service after changes have been made indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
