How to Set Up EdgeVPN on macOS
Get started in just 4 simple steps when the app launches
Download the macOS App
When released in Q2 2026, download the EdgeVPN installer directly from our website or the Mac App Store. The app will support macOS 12 (Monterey) and later.
Install and Sign In
Open the downloaded installer and follow the installation wizard. Launch EdgeVPN and sign in with your existing EdgeVPN account or create a new one.
Grant VPN Permissions
macOS will request permission to add VPN configurations. Click "Allow" to enable EdgeVPN to create secure VPN connections. You may need to enter your system password.
Connect from Menu Bar
Access EdgeVPN from your menu bar. Choose from 70+ server locations, select your preferred protocol, and click connect. Your Mac is now protected.

The macOS app will support all three EdgeVPN protocols: WireGuard for maximum speed, OpenVPN for compatibility, and V2Ray for advanced obfuscation. You can switch between protocols based on your needs.
